Purpose :To help participants understand the nature of sustainable food growing as we practice it in Buddha Garden. The aim of this approach is to help individuals take a new appreciation of what they eat and consume.

Approach :The pedagogical approach involves the following: o Introductory lecture on sustainable farming methods and Buddha Garden history o A walk around the garden demonstrating and explaining what we do. o A question and answer session.

Assessment :Not applicable, since it is a first introduction.
