Opportunity Description
Context of the need:
The Pavillon de France was created long ago, but it is having another birth since August 15th, 2015 with the inauguration of a built base, that will give more visibility and impetus for its activities.
Goal & expected outcome to achieve
The expected mission for the volunteer is to give practical assistance to coordinate activities, get the reception desk for tourists and guests organized, relate with other National Pavilion groups in the context of the International Zone coordination.
Position & role of the volunteer in the unit and in relation with other actors
The volunteer is assisting Claude Jouen, and will coordinate with the other members of the team.
Interactions
This service consists mainly of independent work, but with a lot of links and cooperation with other working groups. No financial responsibility.
Conditions & practical details
The volunteer must be self-sustained, s/he will be offered free accommodation in Claude Jouen's place.Timing
Morning hours 9 - 12 am during week days Mon to Fri
Afternoon hours 2 - 4 pm during week days Mon to Fri
Prerequisites
At ease with contacting and talking to people. Facilitation to public relations with VIPs and diplomats. Solid French general culture and passion to share it. Good capacities to organize work, office work, events and computer literate.
