Daily Tasks
Organize methodology, prepare lesson plans, and teach English. Conduct classes as per the timetable decided with the school. Participate in other school activities such as celebrations and school trips. Work in collaboration with the other teachers and attend occasional teacher training workshops free of charge.
Skills gained
Experience and learn about a new culture through interactions with Tamil adults and children. Experience how Mother and Sri Aurobindo's teachings can be put into practice in a school at all levels.

Role of Volunteer
To teach English as a second language for students in class Vth to VIIIth.
Conditions
Lunch , Tea and Snacks will be provided on workdays. Possiblity of accomodation can be explored (this will be as per mutual disccussion between the unit and volunteer)
Timing
Morning hours 8-30am to 12.45pm
Afternoon hours 1.30pm to 3.30pm
Prerequisites
Native English Speaker preffered. Experience in teaching. Teaching certificates like TFL or CELTA would be preffered. Person with good written and spoken English skills. Should believe in friendly interaction with children and a willingness to teach.
