Creation of learning materials
Daily Tasks
Creating and using learning visual or audio materials to support and stimulate our students in their learning process. Some ideas are flash word and sentence cards, bilingual texts, loco box, audio tape recordings, story telling puppets, etc. These tools shall be developed with creativity in consideration with the children's difficulties to learn.
Skills gained
This is an opportunity to create nice relationships with local children. The volunteer will experience Indian culture and opportunities to participate in village life.

Condition and practical details:
Lunch and tea will be provided on working days.
Duration:
Minimum duration is six months, but ideally the volunteer will stay all the school period, from June to end of April. (Non-Indians must be aware of the visa conditions - please see our visa pages).
Timing
Morning hours 8.30 to 12.30, Monday to Friday. Alternative Saturdays (9.30 to 12.30 ) to prepare learning materials together with the rest of the teachers.
Afternoon hours 13.30 to 15.00, Monday to Friday. Fridays ( 13.30 to 16.30 ) teachers meeting.
Prerequisites
Good will and enthusiasm. Patience and autonomy. Willing to be with children. Open to use a computer in the process of teaching. Teaching experience.
