AWARE requires various resources to carry out its missions and programmes. It is being set up innovatively to leverage the goodwill and already existing digital capabilities to make sure the work is carried out collaboratively and in a seamless manner. AWARE stands for Awareness Works for Auroville Related Experiences. The purpose of this initiative is to help various community-related entities to better communicate amongst themselves, with the community at large, and with the outside world.

Goal:

The goal of a volunteer working as a filmmaker at awareauroville.com would be to contribute to the documentation and promotion of the various activities, events, and initiatives happening in Auroville. The expected outcome would be to create engaging and informative video content that showcases the unique culture and lifestyle of Auroville and its residents, and helps raise awareness about the community and its values.

As a filmmaker volunteer, one would be expected to work with the awareauroville.com team to conceptualize, script, shoot, and edit videos that capture the essence of Auroville, its people, and its projects. The volunteer may be involved in a range of activities, including filming interviews, recording events, editing footage, and creating short films, documentaries, and promotional videos.

Through their work, the volunteer would be able to develop their filmmaking skills, gain exposure to a diverse range of cultures and lifestyles, and make a meaningful contribution to a community dedicated to human unity.
