Daily tasks: Although more closely associated with the work in the kitchen garden, the volunteer will, like everyone else who lives in Buddha Garden, participate in the morning work sessions 6.15 – 9.00am every morning Monday to Friday. Work takes place in the kitchen garden at this time only if there are enough volunteers for the other farm work. For the kitchen garden there are two or three extra sessions either 10.00 – 12.30pm or 4.00 – 5.30pm according to need. Volunteers sign up for two extra sessions in addition to the morning work sessions.
Daily tasks: Planting, land cleaning, preparing beds, contributing in the design based on Auroville symbol (12 petals of the qualities of the Mother).
Daily tasks: All work varies according to the season. Activities linked to farming: maintaining the orchards by weeding, mulching, composting trees and harvesting. Activities linked to seedling: seeds collecting, preparing the plantation of saplings and nursery maintenance. Activities linked to forest work and land protection: logging dead wood, planting new trees, watering, repairing fences. General activities: maintenance of the volunteer camp and infrastructures.
Daily tasks: Follow-up and development of existing gardens of the Matrimandir. Develop technical drawings of the gardens and plantations, plan out the planting. and planning for the plantation.
Daily tasks: help in all fields of green work soil and water conservation reforestation preservation of bio diversity wetland creation and protection creation of a protected area for wild life protection of endangered species

Daily tasks: Create computerized industrial drawings of Aqua Dyn systems and prepare files for EC norms application and information transfer to assembling platforms.
Daily tasks: General maintenance and upkeep of the forest Cleaning and clearing the forest Pruning the plants Prepare the trail path for Herbal walks Preparesignageand name tags for the herbs Identification of medicinal plants and their benefits Paint new sign boards Support the development of an indoor Herbal garden bed Planting seeds and saplings to grow more medicinal herbs for a patch garden
Daily tasks: The basic tasks of farming: collecting biomass, weeding, preparing beds, mulching, planting, caring of the plants, harvesting… Plus: doing / turning compost piles, cleaning the orchards... Participation to the design of organic techniques suited to the characteristics of the farm.
Daily tasks: All aspects of food growing : cleaning, composting, mulching, planting, weeding, harvesting. Once the volunteer has gained some experience in these activities, she/he might move on to more elaborate work like seed saving or nursery.
