This opportunity seeks a volunteer to help with the smooth running of daily operations.

Position and Role of the Volunteer:
The volunteer will take on tasks such as receiving customers, billing, cleaning, and taking orders, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations at Bella Vita. This role is perfect for someone friendly, outgoing, and eager to learn about the hospitality business. Volunteers will interact with customers and support the team in delivering an excellent experience. Basic computer skills and the ability to handle customers with a soft-spoken approach are essential.

Conditions and Practical Details:

  • Flexible working hours, including some evening shifts.

Key Tasks:
  • Document the work being done by Aurokiya as part of our community outreach programs; and workshops in and around Auroville.
  • Send reports to donors on a regular basis with updates.
  • Communicate with schools and other units for organizing eye camps and eye yoga sessions.
  • Maintain our social media and website. Website is already built, and the volunteer can be trained on how to add pictures / small updates on it.
  • Accompany our team to workshops and sessions.
  • If interested, we can train the volunteer on eye yoga practices.
