The event organizer will be responsible for developing event concepts, coordinating logistics, managing event budgets, and promoting events through various channels. They will work closely with other members of the team, including the web and social media manager, to ensure that events are promoted effectively and efficiently.

Specifically, the web and social media manager volunteer will be responsible for:

As a filmmaker volunteer, one would be expected to work with the awareauroville.com team to conceptualize, script, shoot, and edit videos that capture the essence of Auroville, its people, and its projects. The volunteer may be involved in a range of activities, including filming interviews, recording events, editing footage, and creating short films, documentaries, and promotional videos.

Through their work, the volunteer would be able to develop their filmmaking skills, gain exposure to a diverse range of cultures and lifestyles, and make a meaningful contribution to a community dedicated to human unity.

Skills/experience required:

-Excellent writing and editing skills with a strong command of the English language and knowledge of grammar, punctuation, and spelling.
-Familiarity with social media platforms and experience with social media marketing.
-Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
-Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress, Joomla, or Drupal.
-Experience with search engine optimization (SEO) techniques and digital marketing.
-Understanding of web analytics and ability to use data to inform content strategies.
-Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and other web development tools.

Requirements:

Language skills: English required, Tamil will be appreciated
