Daily tasks: Although more closely associated with the work in the kitchen garden, the volunteer will, like everyone else who lives in Buddha Garden, participate in the morning work sessions 6.15 – 9.00am every morning Monday to Friday. Work takes place in the kitchen garden at this time only if there are enough volunteers for the other farm work. For the kitchen garden there are two or three extra sessions either 10.00 – 12.30pm or 4.00 – 5.30pm according to need. Volunteers sign up for two extra sessions in addition to the morning work sessions.
Daily tasks: Planting, land cleaning, preparing beds, contributing in the design based on Auroville symbol (12 petals of the qualities of the Mother).
Daily tasks: All work varies according to the season. Activities linked to farming: maintaining the orchards by weeding, mulching, composting trees and harvesting. Activities linked to seedling: seeds collecting, preparing the plantation of saplings and nursery maintenance. Activities linked to forest work and land protection: logging dead wood, planting new trees, watering, repairing fences. General activities: maintenance of the volunteer camp and infrastructures.
Daily tasks: A training workshop will be provided. Thereupon, numerous challenges will be identified as designing/experimenting/implementing numerous furniture design projects. A time bound project will be chosen for the volunteer in keeping with the community and bamboo Center's vision. The daily tasks can be devised by the volunteer accordingly.
Daily tasks: Follow-up and development of existing gardens of the Matrimandir. Develop technical drawings of the gardens and plantations, plan out the planting. and planning for the plantation.
Daily tasks: help in all fields of green work soil and water conservation reforestation preservation of bio diversity wetland creation and protection creation of a protected area for wild life protection of endangered species
Daily tasks:

Coming to work with horses and children 5 afternoons (incl weekend) 4.30 – 6.30pm, helping children connect, brush, and experience sitting safely on the 4 ponies and 3 horses.

Coming for 2 hrs per day to take care of the horses  - taking them to the fields, shower, brush. No hard physical work is expected, but oversight and empathy with the 7 horses
