Opportunity Description
Context of the need:
Auroville.com is an online store presenting products of Auroville to the world.
We have several new projects coming up and we need support to keep running everything smoothly.
Goal:
We would like to start a new project inside auroville.com with somebody in charge of it independenly, in that way it will have its own pace.
Position and role of the volunteer:
The volunteer will take up a new project, taking care and responsibility of it with the support and advice of the team. S/he will also assist the team in other tasks if that is needed.
Conditions and practical details:
We can offer free lunch and tea and cover the volunteer contribution.
Support in housing can be discussed.
Duration:
Minimum duration is 6 months with the possibility of extension. (Non-Indians must be aware of the visa conditions- see our visa pages).
Timing
Morning hours 8.00 to 12.00, Monday to Friday.
Afternoon hours 13.30 to 17.00, Monday to Friday.
Prerequisites
Good communication and English skills both writing and spoken. Basic computer skills with the wanting to learn something new. Interest in creative work and problem solving. Reliable. MBA is a plus.
