Guest Accomodation & Registration Service (GRAS)
History and today’s organisation.
For more than 15 years GRAS has been assisting guests in Auroville.
Our friendly team welcomes guests in Auroville and facilitates their stay. The team is responsible for legal registration of guests in Auroville and providing options for places to stay during their visit. This involves coordinating with the many different types of guest houses and Home Stays in Auroville and finding the most suitable accommodation for each guest.
Vision and Missions
To be an ambassador for Auroville, to welcome and receive guests,to facilitate the guest’s stay in and experience of Auroville.
Leaders & Team
GRAS is a service of the Guest Facilities Coordination Group (Afsaneh, Cristina, Kumar, Lieve, Selvam, Susan, Tineke). Susan and Lieve are involved in monitoring the activities of GRAS. The Visitors Centre team includes Raje, Gomathi and Olesya and the Town Hall team is Jayanthi and Raji.
