The Auroville Pré-crèche

History and today’s organization.

Initiated in the year 2000 as a result of a long cherished dream and a need in the community to take care of the very young children. Parents value our contribution and we offer the little ones opportunities for exploration and growth, while giving them the space and time just to be, so that the beauty of the soul may come out.

Our facilities are suitable for 2 groups

– a baby group, starting the school year at the age of 7-19 months

– a toddler group, starting at the age of 1 year and 4months to 2years and 4months.

Vision and Missions

Being a part of the Auroville we strive for integral education and free progress : We aspire

• to create a vibrant atmosphere of peaceful joy, attention and wonder, where the youngest ‘students’ of Auroville are welcome to come for discovery and progress.
• to maintain a place, where teachers and parents don’t forget why we are in Auroville and what is our aim.
• to offer the kids possibilities for stimulation and growth of all the different aspects of their personality – physical, emotional, mental and inner.
