Organic Gardener
Daily Tasks
Meet with Verite core group and kitchen staff; substantial hands-on work (planting, watering, harvesting, etc.); coordinate garden workers/volunteers; research and documentation
Skills gained
Develop mastery in organic food production; experience "farm to table" lifestyle; knowledge of local produce & nutritional content; entrepreneurial skills in developing and marketing organic food products and services; mentoring/teaching skills (e.g. supervision of volunteers, guided tours of the garden)
