Maintenance Coordinator for Waste Management

Daily Tasks

Maintain records and data of daily work/collection /allocation of resources. Coordinate recycling. Provide actual weekly data in terms of collections/recycled and landfill. Follow up and coordinate for the website. Organise data /revisions for contents to be published on the website.

Context of the need

Auroville EcoService manages solid waste for the international township of Auroville. Eco-service continues to provide exemplary work in the field of garbology. It has been constantly striving to meet its objectives in terms of daily collections, building awareness in the community, reduce landfill, re-cycle and implement innovative ideas to upcycle as well.

Position & Role

 To allocate resources for daily collection program and maintain records on the computer. Also required to coordinate with workers and resource allocations. 

Goals & Expected Outcomes

To provide data on how much was recycled, upcyled and landfilled. 

Conditions

Lunch and tea will be provided during work days.

Timing

 

Morning hours 9am -12.30pm
Afternoon hours 2.30pm - 5 pm

Prerequisites

Someone with experience in Garbology would be helpful. Though we welcome anyone with enthusiasm to join in our efforts to build awareness and provide effective measures.
