Well-being Workshops & Programs Assistant- Verite
Daily Tasks
• Planning, preparation, set up and break down of administrative tasks (e.g. registration, book keeping) for a wide variety of programs. • Promotion of the events, posting the events on various social media platforms, posting hard copy announcements, researching /contacting new markets • Tracking data on all program activities, assisting bookkeeper with data collection and account reconciliation • Outreach, correspondence, communication with teachers, facilitators and therapists for presenting their work at Vérité • Attending phone calls, responding to emails, interfacing with Vérité guests, and presenters, registration of participants • Quality control of the facilities and equipment, checking on inventory • Issuing Aurocards (plastic money), giving orientation tours, coordinating and administering group’s use of programming halls, etc. For the many international groups that Vérité hosts throughout the year • Interfacing between various departments such as maintenance, kitchen, garden etc. • Occasional assistance to the Guest house coordinator for orientation and registration of guests.
Skills gained
After completing this internship, you will have experience in: Program coordination, event management, marketing, documentation, recruiting, customer relations, building and infrastructure supervision. Conditions and practical details: Meals and tea will be provided on working days; housing and/or stipend for living expenses may be possible
Timing
Morning hours 8.00 to 12.30, Monday to Saturday
Afternoon hours 14.30 to 17.30, Monday to Saturday
Prerequisites
-Basic computer skills, such as MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and MS Excel. -Documentation of archival audio-visual data Basic handling of audio-visual equipment such as projector and sound system Basic graphic design knowledge Digitalization and organization of data -Communication, flexibility, patience, motivation, time management, work ethic
