AHA! Kindergarten

History & Today’s organization

Newly started Kindergarten in Auroville, with 15 children in different ages, Aha! Kindergarten is currently envisioned as a space for 3 to 7 year old kids, working on learning milestones without a fixed time-table or fixed syllabus.

A new playground for the children will be developed based on natural materials.-mixed-age groups,

Vision & Missions

The aim is to facilitate an Integral Learning Process which places equal importance on the development of the mental, vital, physical, spiritual and psychic aspects (body, emotions,mind and spirit), and fosters the awakening of the inner being and the drawing out of a deeper consciousness.

We get inspiration from various alternative systems of learning (Waldorf, Montessory, Kishnamurti,..) but we do not subscribe to any specific pedagogy. The learning center follows no fixed curriculum and each day could potentially be a fresh experience for each child or a continuation of a project of the previous day.

Our aim is to build a school where parents and facilitators take equal responsibility and are able to support each other for the better development and growth of the child, developing mutual understanding and cooperation.
