Deepanam School

History and today’s organisation.

Deepanam School is based on Sri Aurobindo and the Mother Free -Progress education.

Learning is the key word and not any academic subject. To constantly arouse in our children the enthusiasm for knowledge and progress is the aim of our endeavor.

We organize programs for children from the age of 7 to 14 years. Groups are small, of about 5 to 8 students.

The work done with the children is through projects instead of fixed classes and textbooks. The children are presented with authentic task, project or investigation, and in small groups, they carry out their research.

There is no importance on the pace of study nor are any marks given to them, therefore no rivalry nor competitions are encouraged.

Vision and Missions:

Inspired by the guidelines of Integral Education laid by the Mother and Sri Aurobindo, Deepanam School aims to offer the children an atmosphere of freedom and creativity which supports their natural development and imparts the joy of learning with independence and responsibility. Our  ultimate objective is to help identify in each child their full potential and bring out their best. Each child is given a chance to develop at his/her own pace.
