Guesthouses exist since long in Auroville to host the many visitors who want to discover Auroville life. As the visiting “guests” population has been increasing, the need of some monitoring was felt: this is how the GFCG has been set up to focus on the accommodation needs, whereas the Guest service is meant to five general information on activities and events happening in the community.

Leaders & Team
The GFCG team is a core group of Guesthouses managers who meet regularly to orientate the operational needs of the housing/catering units. It is composed of 7 members. The core group supervises the desks of the Guests Registration and Accommodation Service in Visitors centre and the Guests Reception at Town Hall.
For the Celebrations of the 50th anniversary, a special cell composed of Lieve, Susan…. has been appointed to manage the many visitors’ lodging needs who will come in February 2018.
