Treecare

History and today’s organisation.

TreeCare in a Unit of the Auroville Foundation, an international township situated in Tamil Nadu, India. Auroville’s afforestation project has been a success story, with more than 3 million trees having been planted over the past 40 years.

Having been born and raised in Auroville, we at TreeCare have a particular ideology that is based on a great deal of sensitivity and passion towards the environment. We are dedicated to maintaining, protecting, and caring for the health and integrity of all your plants and trees.

Vision and Missions

At TreeCare we stay in tune with the ever-evolving art of arboriculture. The techniques we use are based on years of international research and development. Practice and experience have then allowed us to adapt them to our particular environment in India. We strive to spread awareness on the benefits of proper tree care by imparting this knowledge and skill throughout India. With education being a part of our core ideal, we are looking to employ professional arborists, inspire volunteers to join our team, and most importantly offer an apprenticeship designed to bring forth the next generation of arborists.
