Daily Tasks
The volunteer is ezpected to explore, identify and connect with potential retail outlets where Taste of Nature can connect with its buyers. Furthermore the volunteer will be expected to discuss the financial aspects as well as the terms & conditions for sale and distribution. The volunteer is also expected to assist the team in overseeing the existing retail- distribution operations of the commercial unit. He is expected to maintain communication, maintain stock information, ensure timely deliveries and ensure retailers are satisfied.
Skills gained
The volunteer will learn the basic elements and process of retail marketting and distribution. He/ She will learn to coordinate with the production team to supply the goods in time to the retialers while constantly tracking the demand across a timeline.

Taste of Nature emerged from the necessity to preserve large quantities of fruit that go waste in the Auroville community. Since then we have developed a line of products that we feel will provide a valuable alternative to those looking for healthier food alternatives. Now we would like to scale up our activity and make available our products to people across the cities in India and abroad.

Conditions and practical details
Luch can be offered for anybody participating in the core Work sessions. Volunteer contribution and opportunities for lodging can be explored in exchange for extra commitment

Prerequisites
We would like to preferably work with someone who has a background in sales and marketing. We would like to welcome anyone with passion and dynamism for sales and distribition. Basic understanding of business operations more particularly in production, sales and distribution - Basic knowldge of finance in field of sales such as product pricing, sales tax calucation, retailer margin computation, billing etc. - Good communication and presentation skills are required.
