Science and Mathematics Teacher
Daily Tasks
The mission is to strengthen the teaching of science and mathematics at our school. The volunteer will be asked to work out a sustainable method to strenghthen the abilities and knowledge of our teachers in science and mathematics. During the process of training and supporting our teachers, the volunteer will work with both teachers and students.
Skills gained
This is an opportunity to create relationships with local children. The volunteer will get a good exposure to Indian culture and participate in village life.

Conditions:
Lunch and tea will be provided on working days.
Duration:
Minimum duration is 6 months but ideally the volunteer will stay for the full school period, June to end of April. (Non-Indians must be aware of the visa conditions- see our visa pages).
Timing
Morning hours 8.30 to 12.30. Monday to Friday. Alternate Saturdays, 9.00 to 12.30 to prepare teaching materials.
Afternoon hours 13.30 to 15.00. Monday to Friday. Fridays 13.30 to 16.30, teachers meeting.
Prerequisites
Knowledge in science and mathematics is required. Teaching experience. Open to new cultures.
