Daily tasks: Developing and maintaining the school garden (e.g. planting, weeding, mulching, building beds, harvesting,...) but also, if interested, developing educational projects to implement with children (e.g. learning about, observing and caring for the plants, building compost, garden decoration and land art, cooking the food we grow, making herbal remedies,... the possibilities are endless!) .
Daily tasks: Developing a website is the main part of the job. The "embryo" of this website has already been created at Auroorchard.org in Joomla environment. The job includes adaptations of the structure of the website ( choosing a better theme, creating menus, forms, adding plugins, etc) as well as editing contents. The volunteer will also sometimes take part in some activities of the farm with the aim to really understand the techniques we are using. Take photos and make short videos. Classify photos.
Daily tasks: Undertake the whole development of gardens and landscape products. First stage of conceptual design : study ideas, develop design briefs ; In a technical development stage: develop prototypes, evaluation of costs, source materials. In a final presentation stage : develop visuals for discussion with the team, followed by a formal visual presentation of the final product to include in a catalogue.
Daily tasks: They require aid in developing the camp site followed by construction work which would be under the guidance of the Team. Many additional opportunities could be taken up in the areas of design, architecture, web design, event management, project management, funding & marketing, coordinating with student exchange programs.
Daily tasks: Preparing menus, cooking and preparing tables. Collaborate with the farm manager to set up the quantity of products needed to be harvested for the Café. Interact with the customers An artistic inclination is welcome to work on the café's ambience. Maintain the café's consistent and efficient running.
