    Farm and activity Manager

    Daily tasks:

    -Farm work , which includes planting , weeding , nursery work, seed saving, harvesting ,food processing
    -Helping in planing and conducting workshops and tours.
    -Help with Video filming and editing for the youtube channel.
    -Designing a website and flyers.
    -helping with technical things like extending and perfectioning the irrigation system.

    JIVA -Assist in Horse Care
    at JIVA Auroville
    Daily tasks:

    Coming to work with horses and children 5 afternoons (incl weekend) 4.30 – 6.30pm, helping children connect, brush, and experience sitting safely on the 4 ponies and 3 horses.

    Coming for 2 hrs per day to take care of the horses  - taking them to the fields, shower, brush. No hard physical work is expected, but oversight and empathy with the 7 horses

    Farm Work & Forestry- Aurogreen

    Daily tasks: All work varies according to the season. Activities linked to agriculture: preparing nurseries, planting, weeding, harvesting, seed collecting, composting beds and trees and making new compost, processing fruits (solar dryer) Activities linked to dairy: cleaning sheds & animals, cutting fodder, mixing feed, feeding adult animals and calves, making cheese, distributing milk, helping with medical treatment of animals Activities linked to farm maintenance: repairing fences and bunds and internal roads Activities linked to forest plots: pruning, harvesting dead trees, planting new trees
    Carpenter with natural materials
    at Bamboo Center Auroville
    Daily tasks: Volunteers & Interns have quite similar role while working in our bamboo community. They will be given after a proper guidance and an opportunity to attend one of our workshops, different challenges of designing/ making/ experimenting/executing numerous carpentry projects as required for the community and in keeping with Bamboo Centre’s vision.
